Containers is a series of photographs taken during trips to Berlin and Paris in 2008 and continued in a sporadic fashion to the time of this entry (Nov. 2010).

This kind of container might represent the last time we put order to the things we make.

I am not entirely sure why it was important to photograph them, but my mother died not so long before this project started, and perhaps their resemblances to coffins plays a part.
